Faye stepped into Philip's sturdy office. The same room where they had first met. The desk was tidy, papers stacked neatly, and the faint scent of coffee lingered. Philip looked up as she entered.

“Faye, are you here to see me?”

“I brought your clothes and some things you might need,” she said, placing the bag on the floor.

“Would you want to come in for a bit? Let me give you some tea,” Philip asked.
