Kenny ran out from one of the rooms in the nursing home. He stopped when he saw the noise and confusion outside. His eyes moved from Philip to Faye and then to the crashed cars.

“Faye, what is going on? Are you all right?” Kenny asked, breathing hard.

“Yes, I am fine,” Faye answered. She looked toward the building. “Did you manage to find the ghost painter?”

“Yes,” Kenny said. “Josey has been paying for an extra room.”

Before Faye could reply, two police officers dragged an old man out of one of the rooms. The old man shouted loudly.
