Philip’s mother arrived at the hospital with worry in her eyes. She saw Faye sitting on a small bench near the hallway. Her steps were quick as she came closer. She called out softly, her voice shaking with fear. “Faye Faye what happened” she asked as she walked toward her.

Faye looked up with tired red eyes. “I am sorry” she said in a weak voice. “Philip was trying to save me and got hurt”
