Louis' words caught me off guard, leaving me practically speechless. While I was left shocked and unsure, Louis just gave me a little wink. "Did that really blow your mind that much?"

I stared into Louis' deep blue eyes, along with his charming smile, and suddenly felt a surge of anger at being teased.

"Don't mess with me, Louis. It's not funny."

"I'm dead serious." Louis toned down his smile as he took hold of my shoulder, his expression becoming more serious than before. "I mean it, Claire. Let's have a baby. You and me, our next generation."
