Megan's POV

When I got home, it turned out my mother-in-law's car was there. Apparently, She didn't come in. "You just got in the car!" He forbade me to come down to meet his mother.

I opened the car window and at least I could hear what they were talking about.

"Why did you forbid Mom from entering your house?" My mother-in-law's facial expression looked angry.

"What are you doing at my house, ma'am? Do you want to force Megan to work at your company again? I won't allow that. I want her to focus on her pregnancy. I want her to be a housewife. Even if she does work...
