My stupefied gaze fell on my empty hands as a tingling sensation shot up my spine, I was startled by this unexpected occurrence.

I had received the letter in my room, kept it in my hand, and swiftly came here to show it to my Kitten. Then where did it go? Did I drop it on the way?
