The lady doctor looked at me as if I had asked a stupid question about the Alien invasion, her eyes widened with shock.

“I have just announced that your wife has survived AFE. It’s obvious that she’s out of danger now.”

Her assurance lifted a heavy load off my chest, I hugged my Kitten and howled gleefully.
