The word party pooper tied a knot in my stomach, filling my head with all sorts of worse-case scenarios at a record speed. I had anticipated a great war between Maddox and Prince Edith as this issue could only be resolved by the death of that rebellious wolf.

However, I thought that it would happen after my first shift, where I could take part as a warrior to defend my King. All the plans of flexing Ash’s powers to impress my mate went straight to hell when Maddox alerted his brother.
