Abortion?

Although Maddox was going on and on with the accuracy of the procedure and the importance of human doctors, my ears refused to hear past that forbidden word. He had asked me to kill my child and give up on my demand, but the proper word for this shook me to the core. I felt dizzy as the world around me spun on its axis.

I was thinking about convincing him of my son, and he had already decided for me to have an abortion on my behalf.
