“What did you enjoy doing most at night?" she asked, her body pressed against mine.

“In this kingdom, there was no day, so nights weren’t special until you arrived,” I replied, running my hands through her thick hair.

“I know you loved watching stars at night,” I added.

“I could watch the stars all night; I believe you already know that," Lisa answered between bites of bagels and fried chicken. I enjoyed the sound of her chewing as she indulged in her favorite food.
