Because I won first place, Donald threw a party for me at the best hotel in City A. All the executives came tonight, and the entire jewelry design and research department also came to the party.

"Congratulations! You finally got the award you wanted!" Gemma toasted me privately. "You are great. You did not disappoint me."

"Thank you." said I a little guiltily, "it's a shame I did not go to the party with you. It was supposed to be an honor for both of us. I thank you for your efforts to win first place."
