"Why did it take so long?"

"I have something urgent to deal with. I'm tired after spending a whole day with you. Can't you give me some free space?"

"Didn't I stay with you every day?" I put down the coffee and tried to coax him.

"If you don't come back, I won't listen to you and get out of bed to look for you!"
