Dylan pulled the trigger, but nothing happened. His face flushed red as he tightened his grip on the gun and repeatedly pulled the trigger like a fool.
The scene replayed in my mind for the umpteenth time that night. When Dylan left the car to give instructions to his men, I was the only one left inside.
