Adriana's POV

As the cold seeps into my very core, I embrace myself tightly. I awaken to find myself enveloped in total darkness.

"Maggie?" I speak softly, yet she remains silent. I attempt once more, yet nothing occurs. As I look for the spot in my mind where she consistently resides, I discover it to be vacant. Where could she be? I begin to feel a sense of panic creeping in.
