There were no signs today that suggested it would turn into a catastrophe. I arose feeling joyful. Looking forward to taking Wade and Cara out. A place where we can relax, unwind, and enjoy some ice cream together. Wade has been feeling down over the last few weeks. The absence of Ares has left him feeling anxious, and he longs for his father.

The entire situation has been frustrating me since nothing I tried appeared to lift his spirits. Ares still needed a day or two more. I thought that taking Wade out might lift his spirits.

"What should we do about Ares?" Vanta unexpectedly asks.
