I hadn't slept that well in a while. Claire had made sure to exhaust me yesterday, but I had been tired the last eight months or so. And still, sleep hadn't caught up to me. Not like last night.

I felt so fresh that I decided to check around her kitchen and make some breakfast. When I found the bacon and the few eggs, I chuckled. It was going to be stereotypical but tasty and easy to make. Her kitchen was much emptier than mine and she had just a few pans and cooking utensils. Not to mention plates.
