The boy shrugged but still went upstairs.

Katherine looked at Mercy after he was out of sight, "it will be hard to keep him away now."

Mercy sighed and went to sit beside her, "how was he able to pick that up from your discussion?"

"He is his father's son."

"That's true" they remained silent, "what happened?"

"Raymond was here" she wiped her face with her hand, "he wanted to see me but he ran into her instead" she let out a deep breath "and I couldn't help telling him about the children....
