I stand frozen at the door not daring to turn, I could tell who it was by their voice. Charlie remained behind me with his hand on my back, the door was wide open at this point where my neighbours smile at me, but I couldn't return the smile. 

"Dad?" I hear Marley ask then he begins to cry along with my mother but I shake my head. 

"I can't do this" is all I say walking out the house, I hear my dad start calling my name but I don't turn my head even for a second.
