Lydia had a difficult time moving on from the circumstance after Holle was involved in Griffon's death at her hands. Lydia had a twinge of guilt on her head that continued to plague her after she did not offer her word to the mourning father's plea on not harming his ancestors. If she had granted his desire, the animosity that Griffon felt against her would have dissipated, but instead, she decided to make things more difficult for herself and everyone else including the future generation of his family.
