“You should have her hanged Nikolai! She's a danger to your child! Your crowned heir!” Olivia Burns bellowed in a guttural voice that seemed to shake the gold chandelier hanging above us and I cringed, feeling my breaths come faster and faster.

“I didn't, I didn't do anything! Please, Nikolai! You’ve got to believe me!” I gushed, feeling tears pool under my eyes as I stared up at the King’s handsome face.
