I felt like my heart skipped a beat when I saw that someone was hugging her and she hugged him back. Samantha drew me in and demanded that I need to look at her, but I was staring at Desiree. I let her down today; I thought the ideal plan was to let them have a half-day off and Desiree would be safe from Samantha's wrath, but Samantha humiliated her in front of far too many people on the street, and I could sense her sadness.
