Sylas’ POV
Pacing didn’t help, I knew that, yet no matter how hard I tried, I could not stop myself. My steps echoed loudly against the polished marble floors of the estate. Each turn I took was tighter than the last, and each breath heavier than it should have been.
For the past hour, I have had my phone pressed tightly against my ears.
“No, that’s not good enough,” I snapped into the phone. “I don’t care how many warehouses you’ve checked, check them all again. Find her.”
