The very first thing Naeris learned about her boss was that she hated waiting. Sarah was a woman who felt like she deserved the world and that meant she believed others should always wait on her, instead of the other way around.

The second thing that Naeris learned was that Sarah hated being out of control. Still, even though she hated having to do it, Naeris arrived at the private lounge twenty minutes early. Not because she feared Sarah’s temper, but because she could not afford to rile Sarah up.
