Nerissa’s P.O.V

I leaned against the wall, arms crossed over my chest as my eyes followed Renee who wore a floor-length sky-blue gown while asking around for me. I watched the way she gripped her white cane tightly, my mind reeling concerning the reason she was asking for me. 

With the expression on her face, it seemed like whatever she wanted to see me for was pretty serious. 

A sly smile curled at my upper lips as I pushed away from the wall and strutted towards her, hips swaying by the side.  A sardonic sound rumbled from my throat. “Why is my ex-sister looking for me ?”
