Being shocked was an understatement.

How did I transition from feeling a thousand emotions at once- Fear, anxiety, and most importantly, confusion. Because, if Alpha Raymond sent that apology letter to me, then why did he stare at me with so much hatred in his eyes? And now, he was here, attempting to take my hands while I retracted my step, hesitating.

"Renee, right?"
