The pleasure that consumed me vanished, horror replacing the expression on my face as agony pulsed through my neck. Panic bled through my veins and I wanted to believe that it wasn’t what I was thinking. 

I grabbed the duvet and wrapped it around my body before moving over to the mirror. I shoved my hair aside only to see the marks at the side of my neck that were starting to fade. My heart sank to my stomach, and my eyes widened with disbelief with every second that passed by.
