Opening my eyes an hour later after the secret meeting, exhausted after using my wolf’s astral projection powers to communicate with Alpha Caelum, I still found Alpha Gideon sulking in my hospital room.

But Rose is now with him—or rather, he's inside her.

They didn’t see me waking up or even notice that I was there; it felt like I was the one in the room with them.

I’ve been waking up, losing consciousness, my sight going black, and then waking up again for like four days straight. Or was it three? I don’t know, I can no longer tell how long I’ve been here and how long...
