Dane has always been an enigma to me with how he acts and what he says. One second he’s cold and making me hate him, and the next, he does or says something that makes me doubt for a small second that there is something under the surface and I’m not like other girls for him. It was there long ago, but it’s grown more noticeable with his increased hostility these few years. No matter what we say to hurt one another, we always draw back together as though nothing happened.
