She leans forward and presses a kiss against his cheek before saying goodbye to everyone else. As the four continue to walk toward his car, Max decides to pull he aside again.
"Hey," she says, stopping him when they're a few feet apart.
"Thanks for today. I know that you're probably tired, but I appreciate it. You didn't have to come out here with me."
"It's fine," he reassures her. "Besides, my parents said that we could spend the night if we wanted. What better time than now?"
"I guess so," Max agrees quietly.
She pauses momentarily before speaking again.
"Do you think that…that maybe we could hang out sometime...
