Once they finally break apart after a few minutes, they both stare at each other. He smiles, his heart racing.

“Thank you. For being patient with me.”

“Of course.” She gives him a reassuring look. “Now let’s get you cleaned up, alright? Then we can watch some movies or something.”

Max agrees quickly, unable to contain his excitement. He can’t believe that this day has finally arrived.

They spent almost the entire day together, laughing and kissing and spending time together. They held hands, talked about their feelings, and shared their worries and fears.
