"Yeah, it's true. It's kind of hard to believe that it all happened. Especially considering what happened the last time something like this happened," he mutters quietly.
A brief look of panic appears on her face, and for a moment he worries that his words triggered some sort of reaction. But as soon as it appeared it disappears, replaced by a neutral look as she clears her throat nervously.
"Yeah... you know, Max, I think it's best if we don't mention yesterday ever again," she states nervously, taking a deep breath. Max frowns.
"What? Why not? Why would we-" his mouth shuts firmly when he sees the look of annoyance...
