"Out for a quick walk," Max shrugs.

She smiles sweetly at her brother when he gives her an incredulous look. Mike rolls his eyes but decides to drop the subject in favor of getting breakfast. The foursome eats breakfast in relative silence, although there's a lot of joking around as usual.

When they finish eating and wash the dishes, Max heads upstairs to get ready for work.

As she brushes her teeth she thinks back to the previous evening, remembering how embarrassed she'd felt upon realizing what happened in his diary.

She remembers seeing his handwriting, and she wonders again how much he wrote about her.
