Lucy walked through the forest, listening to the sound of her footsteps on the dried leaves underfoot. She loved the forest, it was her home. She had grown up in the forest and it was where she felt the most comfortable. But she was not here for pleasure, she was here to meet someone.

She had received a message from an old friend saying they had something important to tell her. She didn't know what it was, but she was curious. As she walked, she sniffed the air. There was something strange about the scent of the forest today. She couldn't quite put her finger on it.
