“I need to see a patient” Kendrick stands impatiently at the receptionist's desk, his eyes fixed on the woman's slow movement as she files her nails.

The receptionist throws him a dry look, her eyes lingering on him for a moment. She lets out an irritated sigh, facing the computer. Her movements and her words are slow as she asks nonchalantly “And who may that be?”
