Waiting was the worst.

I was sitting here, hoping and praying I would get an answer to my one question: was Micah alive? He had to be okay. He had to be alive. The two of us were finally starting something, forming a relationship and raising kids.

Well, some of that was in my head. We didn’t have a relationship yet. I couldn’t even say where we stood. Yes, there were the triplets. They were an important part of life. Our life. Without the triplets, we wouldn’t even have any connection.
