I smiled, shaking my head as I got into the passenger seat. Sandy and Mercy sat in the back, Sandy excitedly pointing out random buildings and signs as we left the airport behind.
The drive was long enough for the nerves to settle and for reality to start sinking in. Europe felt different—calmer, quieter, and yet, full of possibilities.
When we finally pulled up to the house, my breath caught in my throat.
