“Anything, Harps. I will do anything you want,” he replied, his gaze fixed on me.

“Promise me you won’t tell Ethan where I’ve gone, promise to keep my location a secret, even from Kate. He must never find me, Liam, and he must not coax Kate to reveal my location. Promise me Liam, promise me,” I said, the plea scraping out of my throat. It hurt to say, but I couldn’t risk him confronting Serena and infuriating  her further. I can’t risk him going after Kate or thinking I had betrayed him.
