Rowan stopped when he saw Cliff sitting alone on the sofa in the living room. He walked over to him.

"Why are you sitting here alone? Where's your brother?" Cliff looked up at Rowan's face, traces of tears still visible on his handsome face making Rowan wince in surprise.

"You're crying?" he asked but only Cliff responded with a shake of his head.

"What happened? Tell me," he ordered, getting annoyed with Cliff's residence.

“Nothing happened and big brother… h-he left. I don't know where he went," Cliff stammered. Rowan was very annoyed with his eldest son, Nick, who he had asked to accompany Cliff but instead left Cliff alone....
