The time is currently some minutes past 11 pm, but the lights are still on.

Rook and Tessa are sitting on the bare ground of the room, legs crossed as they drink from the vodka bottles brought by Rook.

“It’s been a while since I drank this” Tessa said, trying to hide the sadness in her voice when she remembered she actually had her first vodka drink at the saloon where Enzo ate her up.

She clenched her thighs to numb the sensations sent to her core by the thought, then she drank from her cup again.
