“William has been really clingy ever since he came here a few days ago. I do not know why,” I said to myself as I took a stroll. “it is really worrying—as if he is scared someone would take me away from him. I am surprised he isn't here with me right now.”

 

I recalled two days ago when I wanted to buy a dress from a vendor in the market but I did not know William had followed me:

 

“Hello?” I had said to the seller. “How much for that one?”
