My throat is sore and itchy, I want to cough, but I can't cough at all, and I feel a desperate choking at the same time!

He's trying to kill me ...... He's trying to kill me!

I struggled violently and grabbed the hand he was choking me with my nails deep, not knowing if I was being ruthless and making him feel the pain at the same time. The next second my entire body was lifted up! The next thing I knew, my whole body flew sideways, my back hit the bookshelf, and a fire-like pain spread throughout my back!
