Elena's POV:

I didn't want to kill her, I didn't think that way. I did have to threaten her to get her to help me, but I had no intention of killing her. I handed her the handkerchief and watched as she slowly turned her face sideways to wipe the remaining traces of tears from her face.

She looked miserable, but where was I not miserable living in this manor?

"Are you aware of what happened last time?" She sucked in her nose and asked me timidly, her head buried a little lower, as if she was afraid of me.

I didn't know if this fear she was feeling now...
