Her head pounded in rhythm with the rapid beating of her heart. Eve's eyelids weighed like mountains as she struggled to open her eyes. A ray of bright light pierced her vision and she groaned out loud, shutting her eyes again. 

"Urgh. Who asked you to open the window, Ethan!" Eve mumbled and she held her forehead and turned her back to the window. 

Her head was still pounding as if it would explode. And her hands reached forward to touch the man. "Argh! What the hell did you do to me, Ethan? Why can't it stop?"
