Rose watched as her brother moved closer to them, each step looked as if it took all his energy. He looked exhausted. She would have guessed he was around fifteen, only a bit younger than the Allen they’d just seen. He had to be coming back from patrol, what with his dirty boots trudging along the corridor.

“Allen!” a voice called behind them. Rose turned to see Harry walking down the corridor towards them looking down at a tablet in his hands. In a moment, Allen entire demeanor changed. His back straightened and he appeared to have been jolted awake. His eyes were big and startled watching Harry approach.
