The following day after the auction event, I was still sleeping peacefully when something that sounded like a knock jolted me up from my deep sleep.

After waking up, since I wasn't yet sure if someone was knocking or not, I waited for a little while to see if I would hear the knock again, and just some minutes later, the knock resounded again.
