Connor's POV

I knocked once no thrice waiting for Elsa to open up but she didn't.I messed up. I even got Ryan angry. He hated when a man touched a woman and I did that,breaking Elsa's arm without thinking.

I should have controlled my anger, the guilt that Vanessa ended that way because of me was eating me up.

The door flung open revealing Elsa with a sheepish look,I had woken her up.

“Connor?” She looked surprised.

“Hi…um how are you feeling?” I pointed to the bandage on her arm.

My heart twisted,my wolf angry I was pained seeing her in that state.She wasn't a wolf it would take months...
