Hazel's Point Of View:

Silence took over.

She smiled bitterly, “So it's true…..what I heard is true,” she mumbled softly.

“Lucille, i-”.

She cut me off with a yell, veins bulging on her neck, “So it's real! Self hate is real! So it's true that it haunts the hearts of the innocent looking ones and rips their hearts apart to mount stupid beliefs in them. So it's true!”.

"You won't understand,” I whispered.

"What won't I?".

The cat got my tongue.

She grabbed my hand, "You are coming with us to the werewolf world no matter what! I'm not going to leave you here to be devoured...
