Savannah's arms were bleeding as she ran hastily away from Kael. Her eyes contracted when she caught sight of Sophia being strangled by a guard. She flung an arrow towards him and he was struck and fell to the ground with a soft thud.

“ Ugh,” Sophia groaned when the pressure from her neck was removed. She saw Savannah and chuckled as she fell to the floor, “ we did it” she said at the same time as Savannah, heaving so badly.

Savannah dragged her up and immediately they journeyed to the tunnel to find the kids. She might have slowed Kael down but the monster would stop at nothing...
