Leila was just so happy that whatever fear and pain she felt and experienced in her nightmares flew away. Hunter calmed her heart and mind. And even though she was a bit disappointed that he wasn’t around last night – she was glad that she had him right now.

He soothed her troubled heart.

He kissed her pain.

He shielded her from melancholy.

She was humming as she walked towards the kitchen. She didn’t want to entertain the negative and lonely thoughts about her nightmares.

Well, at least for now.

She simply wanted to prepare breakfast for Hunter.
