Once I awoke from sleep, I didn’t bother going back to bed even though it was still quite early. I brushed my teeth, took a shower, and got dressed while waiting for the day to fully dawn. I sat on the chair in front of the mirror, waiting for the call from the house agent.

Good thing I found a boutique and picked up a few clothes yesterday after leaving the café—otherwise, I wouldn’t have had anything to wear. I’d left home without taking my suitcase.
